Timeless Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I just pulled the axles out of my 1987 Comanche. Disconnect high pinion Dana 30 front front and Dana 35 rear. My truck was running and driving up until I pulled these. About 100k miles on them. I have not opened either cover to inspect the gears but neither axle made any strange noises. The lash on the pinon on the Dana 30 feels a bit weird, but there is no radial play so I presume the bearings are fine. I think both need pinion seals but I don't remember. Both are complete with brakes. Both have minimal rust but could use a good cleaning and once over. They're available for pick up in Oyster Bay, NY. Bring me a 12 pack of something on the hoppy side and they're all yours.
GrizzzzBear Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Do you still have these?? Do you know what Gears are in them?? Can you send any pics??
Timeless Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 I'll update this thread when these are gone. So yes, I still have them. My guess on gears would be 3.55's (its an AW4 truck). No pics at the moment. The axles look like axles.
Timeless Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Sort of free. Both cost a 12 pack of something hoppy.
