Speedo Cable Confusion

Working to finally get my 4x4 conversion linkage installed and remembered that I still need a speedo cable. The original 2wd one is too short to hook up, but when I go to rockauto or anywhere else, there is only one part listed. Just FYI, I have a 1987 2.5, AX5, NP207 combo. Does anyone happen to have a correct part number to narrow my search, or do I just order the only one listed and hope its right? Thanks for the help!

Is the '86 cable for the 207 the same as the '87?  If so, I'm pretty sure I still have the one from my '86 when I did the engine and drivetrain swap...  I'd be willing to sell it to you cheap.

I didnt even think about that, I still have my donor truck that I got the trans and case from. New would be nice though. That way the donor would still have one for when or if I build it. I have it in my mind to build it for my daughter  down the road. Time will tell.

The 2wd can be replaced with the one available...which is for 4wd btw, so you are good to go with that.

 

Check dealer first though on parts, it may be cheaper.

I know! lol  I go down 64 through Asheboro every time  I go to Charlotte or Uwharrie.
