You can tighten up the action of the LSD by adding shims to the clutch packs.

The storage box was actually a box to mount a CD changer.  The top compartment held the changer, you had to knock the back of it out for the wiring to pass through.  The bottom was a storage cubby.

For the record I'm one of those funny people who will add stickers that don't belong. I stripped an up country xj for parts to go in my TJ and with that the sticker.

While its apart id see if you can source some new clutches, it seems like the left side has 1 or 2 coming apart by the pic...... idk though  :peek:

Does any body know what years the 8.25s had the LSD? I didn't know they made them for the 8.25s

I recall lsd delete on my 99 build sheet.
