88whitemanche
A lot of people live and die by rustys and a lot of people hate rustys mainly customer service and warranty problems.... Best thing is buy and test yourself...
nitroxsteve
I have the rustys 3" AAL kit on my truck and have had no problems. Its a basic kit with coils, AAL, 4 shocks, and drop bracket for the rear brake hose. You will need to drill a new hole for the track bar to bring the front axle back to center. I installed a skyjacker track bar bracket instead of drilling a new hole. The only issue is that the hole for the center bolt in the AAL is too small for the MJ and needs to be drilled out, but it is correct for the XJ. You will hear some bad things about rustys but my experience has been positive.
RockinMJ
I live about 30 minutes and dealt with him on many different occasions.I ran a rustys lift on a couple different jeeps. Very nice people and very good people to deal with. Lifts were great and never once had a problem.

Incommando
I have used their stuff with no issues and so have friends. I think if you check most of their bad press is 8 years old or older. Their standard front springs for the 3" lift are soft with a bias for a plusher ride but the HD versions are a no cost upgrade. Are they the best in the world? No. But for their price point they are decent. Avoid Rough Country. Their bad rep is earned.
yxmj
Well UPS dropped 3 boxes off yesterday. We had ordered the 3" AAL with shocks..... cost me $448 American all in sent from AL to Winnipeg (4 Business days to ship) All the pieces look good, urethane bushing for everything, all Hardware included. Looks like it will be a quick and easy install
drase
I got a suspension lift on my MJ with no problems. Only thing I did not like that it did not come with a adjustable track bar. I had to buy that separately. My previous Rubicon Express lift I got on my TJ did. Other than that, no complaints!
Incommando
Just for giggles I checked this kit out. Rusty's wants $68 to ship this to Ohio. That seems really high as Zone will ship a full 4.5" kit with lower arms for $49 & NTWonline shipped me 4 32x11.5's for $49,as well. But at $328 shipped for the Rusty's kit versus $448 for international shipping... Very few of your lower priced kits will come with an adjustable track bar. Most RE kits are higher end and the price shows it. I have gone the re-drilled route and know others who have. I have never had a problem or heard of one personally. 88whitemanche
As far as the track bar...at 3" of lift I got the sky jacker track bar relocation bracket... Better that than drilling into already a weak bracket.... Until you can get an adjustable track bar

Your shipped price is $120 more than my shipped price. I know part of your $448 was probably duties but that $448 is about $180 (shipping plus duties??) more than the $265 price for the kit on the website. http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-suspension/jeep-suspension-lift-kits/xj-cherokee-84-01-jeep-suspension-lift-kits/rustys-xj-cherokee-3-add-a-leaf-kit.html
