COMJNUT Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 for us to drive up to nederland is the same drive time as going out to CORE
yellaheep Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Nederland? Who said anything about meeting in Nederland? Besides, bringing the ramp to CORE would be pointless. Just offering it up should a group wanna get together in town.
COMJNUT Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 gordon gulch is near nederland...Trail Damage - Gordon Gulch yes, bringing the ramp to CORE would be pointless. It would definately be better for a in town M&G. :rotf:
Trapn6.0 Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Couple of us in springs went to Hackett gulch today. Sorta was last minute. Would be interested in another run if we can get enough people to come. Maybe metbury.
dscowell Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 I don't care were we meet or what we do I just wanna get to know some people and see everyone else's MJ
djdr1988 Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 We just left that area and came home, it's raining too much and is at risk of flooding
Trapn6.0 Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Any chance we could just do a meet and greet. Need to get a tally of us who are in Colorado springs.
djdr1988 Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I'm in Longmont, but I would be ok with going to springs for a day
COMJNUT Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 There is a car meet every saturday morning at the sears outlet near park meadows, which is exactly halfway between co springs and longmont. We could do lunch at red robin after or something.
COMJNUT Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 ROKMEN meet and greet, I'm going, I'll be later in the afternoon to show up. Lets get some MJ's out there! https://www.facebook.com/events/1430354700557627/
yellaheep Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 ROKMEN meet and greet, I'm going, I'll be later in the afternoon to show up. Lets get some MJ's out there! https://www.facebook.com/events/1430354700557627/ MHJC asked to borrow my RTI ramp for this event..... so it'll be there. Not sure if I'll make it. Gotta work that night. Might not get up in time.
yellaheep Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Funny...I don't see an rti remp here Yeah........... Apparently Rokmen and MHJC werent communicating well..... I got a text 15 min. before I was gonna leave to bring the ramp there. Rokmen went with "plan B" and no longer wanted my ramp. The events coordinator for MHJC said he had no idea what "plan B" was, but also had no idea why they no longer wanted the ramp. :dunno:
Alpine Paradise Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Still would love to show you all around the San Juans if you want to see the REAL Colorado :laughin:
COMJNUT Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Yeah........... :dunno: They were using a forklift with a platform on it to sit the drivers front wheel on, and they were saying "if we had a RTI ramp, this would be your score" I didn't want to say that I knew the guy that was going to bring it. They scored it at 634 (71.6 up a 20 degree ramp)
USAFAGumby Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I'm in CSprings finally and I'm looking to get into 4wheeling. Thanks to dscowell I understand the Gulches are pretty good and easier trails to start on. My truck is mostly stock with 31'' BFGs right now so I'm not looking for anything too crazy. I would absolutely be interested in meeting up for a trail run since I don't have a group to go with now, (or a winch haha).
