  1. They have vids of them beating them with Sledges and throwing them off their roof! But they seem well made from 1/4 inch plus fiberglass. I haven't ran them into any thing yet but with how they stick out I worry I might! :laughin:
  2. I was getting real tired of Mud on my windshield and roof etc. When I purchased this rig the fender flairs had already been chopped off. That was a year ago, but I finally put together the bucks to install these flairs I purchased from Notch Customs in Utah. I actually did this marathon trip to Salt Lake to attend this training and was able to P/U these on my way and save a bit in shipping! I chose the color myself, they kind of Pop I think  I still can not figure how to post a photo on this crazy site so here is a link! https://www.facebook.com/AlpineParadise/photos/a.597281213691736.1073741849.197220750364453/800962266656962/?type=1&theater And here she is after a muddy trip home! Success!!! https://www.facebook.com/AlpineParadise/photos/a.597281213691736.1073741849.197220750364453/800962443323611/?type=1&theater
  3. I have the coolest Job, I give 4x4 tours into the San Juan Mountains of South Western Colo  http://telluridetours.com/ I get payed to play with a 4x4 . :MJ 1: .
  4. Looks like I am the only Western Sloper, I live "near" Montrose but work as a 4x4 guide in the near by San Juan Mountains, and have driven Black Bear close to 500 times in my 27 some years of doing this. I have only had my Comanche about 2 months and still working some of the Bugs out of her! She is a 88 with a ? motor, has some sort of lift and some noisy 31 inch Super Swampers and the Fenders Flairs have been cut off. It also has what seems to be a working Air Locker in an Upgraded rear end, just needs the Compressor to be working, one of the bugs I am working out :???: Check out my on again off again blog to learn more! Alpine Paradise .Com I would love to share a photo, but I can never figure out how to do this on this silly forum, I spent a bunch of time trying to load one as my avatar with no luck :hmm:
  5. Still would love to show you all around the San Juans if you want to see the REAL Colorado :laughin:
  6. Sounds like a lot of Cat Scans friend, not sure what your issues are, but Cancer could be in your future from to many Cat Scans ;-( See you just live over the hill from me, would love to discuss some alternatives to conventional Meds if you would like, could send you some info!- Clay Montrose, Colo!
  7. I would love to lead you all into Colorado's real Mountains, the San Juans. I am very qualified as I have been giving 4x4 tours from Ouray and Telluride for over 27 years and I just got my new (to me) Comanche and would love to put it to use! Check out my Blog if you want to see my credentials ;-) www.alpineparadise.com . - USAFAGrumpy Sept is actually a great time of year in the mountains, most of the crowds are gone and Winter has not set in yet!-
