I'm in Longmont, but I would be ok with going to springs for a day
-
We just left that area and came home, it's raining too much and is at risk of flooding
-
Just letting everyone know, sevenmile is closed this year due to the flooding last year. We will be at Gordon's Gulch this year by Nederland
-
Oh. Ok. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I have the ba10/5 2wd in mine. It still drives alright, but the synchros are going out in it
-
As long as my truck is functional I am always down. I am up for a trail run around july
-
I though the BA10/5 was the two wheel drive tranny. I wasn't aware that they made a t case for it
-
Just checking in with everyone to see who all is coming up memorial day weekend at 7 mile
-
The way that PFCLeist has theirs is exactly where mine is. No on in the passenger seat hits it and its within easy reach
-
102 whip with a bed mount ball.
-
I put mine on the lower dash to the right of the shifter and I screwed the mic mount to the right of the steering wheel where the switches would go. I also have a mic mount to the right of the shifter on the console base.
-
I figured as much. I do pull a lot with my jeep. I just figured adding one would help
-
I was just curious if it would be possible to install a tranny cooler on a puko ba/10
-
The last one at the cleanings talking about is usually the deepest. I have a stock 2 wheel drive Comanche and I am able to make it
-
One thing I should add because we had the problem in the past, there are 3 water crossings that have been a little deep in the past, but I still make it through with my two wheel drive. I will have a couple cans to be safe, but I would advise having some wd-40 with you. Last year my roommate's distributor got water logged. It took two days to figure it out.
-
I will have to check into that. I hope its open this year. Its a tradition of ours
-
It is up by redfeather. I live in Wellington north of fort Collins. It takes is about an hour and half give or take for traffic and hauling.
-
I will give that a try and see if it helps. Thanks again for all the advice.
-
Ok I should also add that right after I changed the parts the heater worked great. Now it's back to this
-
I replaced the parts and now the coolant flows very strong into the bottle, but the heater is only blowing Luke warm at best. Any other ideas? I have flushed the core and it flowed strong.
-
Ok. We go memorial day weekend. 7 mile is almost always open at that time. Kelly was closed last year.
-
Got ya. Thanks for all the help and advice guys. I will update as I get parts replaced and see what happens.
-
Thanks for the advice. Just curious, what does that cap do that the stock cap doesnt?
-
Your thermostat might be stuck open allowing coolant to constantly flow and not heat up the engine to normal operating temp. Try replacing this and see of your temp runs hotter. This may help with the problems.
-
Sorry I haven't posted on this in a while. My temps run normal just below 210 on the gauge. The thermostat is brand new. I haven't checked the vacuum ball in the fender yet. I will do that this weekend. The day after I posted this, the heater was working properly. However, it has started to be intermittent again. Only working when it wants to. I have got the parts to remove the vacuum valve for the heater core, also doing that this weekend. I have also notice the old freeze plug block heater is leaking. I am going to replace that as well, I figure it's letting air in the system. This is the renix setup. I have all the stuff to change to a non sealed system, just haven't had the time to do it. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you're interested, a few friends and I go to 7 mile memorial day weekend. We camp out and run the trail. Kelly Flats is also near there. If it's open this year that is
