DirtyComanche
I saw the valve covers and thought "LS1 :brows: " but no, it's just an LT1. Kinda weird.
JeepcoMJ
I'm pretty sure it's an LT1...the LS1, as I'm informed by the chevy dealer in town, is the 3800 buick that was in camaros etc. I've got a 3800 in my comanche...
Oizarod115
i thought the LS1 was the newer corvette motor?

feerocknok
LS1 is a 346 c.i. v-8. http://www.smokemup.com/tech/ls1.php
DirtyComanche
LS1 is a 346 c.i. v-8.http://www.smokemup.com/tech/ls1.php Yar, The LS1 is god's gift to gearheads. Aluminum block and heads. They seem to hold up to about 700HP on the stock internals too. Found in 4th gen f-bodies and C-5s. They should have put them in everything if you ask me. Then there'd be more in junkyards for me to steal. Now, the new LS2...
feerocknok
Now, the new LS2... If only it were human. I'm yet to see one in a truck.
pingpong
I can't believe he didnt put 60's front and rear, especially with the kinda money he spent on them axles

pingpong
I can't believe he didnt put 60's front and rear, especially with the kinda money he spent on them axles  You don't think the 9'll take it? No its not that I don't think the 9 will take the abuse, its the money he spent building it, I could have built a d60. Mostly I was commenting on the D44 and 39.5 Iroks on them, and a v-8 with no alloys.... I know a guy busting d44 shafts with a i-6 and 37's
DirtyComanche
I didn't even look at the axles. For that size tire that'll be bad. The D44 outers are rather weak. Especially the stock ones.
