jimoshel
Took the grand daughter up for her first flying lesson. She loved it as much as I do.

mpace6a
Awesome! Remember the first, and only, time i was ever in a plane. Cessna 172, flying from the pilots seat, between a small airport near Whitman Air Force Base and Lee's Summit, MO. An awesome experience!

AeroNautical
Outstanding, I'd say Piper Cherokee if it didn't say Dakota. It'd be something if it was a Piper Comanche!
Keyav8r
Great stuff, Jim. I took my grandson up when he was about 4. When we got back home he told my daughter about the man on the radio talking to Poppa. Buffalob's right about treasuring every minute. Our youngest granddaughter is 16 so we've got to wait for great-grands to have babies around again.
neohic
Been dying to get up in one of those small planes! I've got a side gig at Alexandria Aircraft, Bellance doing their welding for a while now. It's really cool being surrounded by Bellancas in different stages of restoration. Really a downer though... no one ever seems to have a good reason to go up in them. Someday!... Someday... jimoshel
treasure the moments with your granddaughter Jim, I sure do. Mine turned 2 in June her Name is Cambria Rose. How old is yours? Her names Lily. 9 months. Outstanding, I'd say Piper Cherokee if it didn't say Dakota. It'd be something if it was a Piper Comanche! It's a P28. Dakota. Piper is responsible for ATC referring to the air space from 3000ft AGL to 18,000ft as 'Indian Territory" because of all the Indian named A/C flying there. There is two piper's named Comanche. The PA30, a twin engine and a PA28 Comanche.
