87Warrior
I absolutely love wheeling at Tuttle. Having lived within a 1/2 hour from the park for most of my life, I know it like the back of my hand. If you are ever up here, give me a call and I can show you around the park. Spent every weekend of my 1st year at K-State wheeling Tuttle. The best part, its free. It has been 6 years since I've been down to Kansas Rocks. It was neat from what I recall. It's privately owned and they do charge a small admission fee. TheDirtyJeep401
My uncle had told me about Tuttle creek, said he went up there a lot growing up. When I get my truck converted to 4x4, I really want to go on some trails, so expect sometime this summer or maybe spring I might be going up there. I'll even see if my uncle wants to go in his YJ. There is a off road park here in Joplin, I'm not sure what its like. But maybe someday we can all go wheeling somewhere.

MGriff013
Michael Lee's Summit MO 91 LWB 4.0 4x4 5 speed There is some land out here that I have taken my ZJ out on nothing extreme and I'm pretty sure that a stock MJ would have no problem with it, as long as you don't try and crawl the creek. mpace6a
We wheeled my buddy Mikes old xj on some land out in lees summit. Been through deeper creeks, but hydro locked his motor anyway. Blew a baseball sized hole right above the exhaust manifold on the #1 cylinder. Turned into a long night
A-man930
Alan West of St. Louis I've been to Hanibal Rocks and FlatNasty both years ago and enjoyed them for sure. Biggest hurdle for me (outside of the whole free-time thing...) is finding a decent group of people to go with. Finding a group that's not too extreme, but not boring either is difficult enough, plus my wife and I aren't drinkers, so that rules out a lot of the crowd I've found. I'd be willing to hook up with a couple people from CC and give it a try.

moparbrown
Dillon Just got my first Mj. 91 short bed 4.0 manual rwd. Live in St. Peter's Missouri (just outside St. Louis) Just got the truck from Junction City Kansas- it made the 5+ hour drive home averaging 65 with no problems at 225k except some headlight fluttering. Plus it just passed Missouri safety inspection with no issues!! The wife drives an 08 jk. I plan to eventually convert to 4x4 and possibly add a small lift/AT tires but it's my DD for now. Would be interested in possibly switching someone for a bench seat? - mine has buckets that appear to be custom done(welded to a metal plate) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
87Warrior
If you make it back to JC, I have a couple spare MJ benches you can have for $0.
moparbrown
If you make it back to JC, I have a couple spare MJ benches you can have for $0. I will defiantly be back around JC, my brother is stationed there and just bought a house so if you still have 1 available that'd be awesome!
