martin809
I have been looking for Drip rails and can't find them. I have thought about cutting the gutter off. Has anyone done this? I need help before I do this and go to paint.
nitroxsteve
Why not just paint the the gutter and then when you find the drip rail covers just snap them on. I don't think they look that bad without te covers but if you cut them off you will probably have leaks and then there is no going back. Just my two cents. Biotex
I'm about to remove mine for paint. Anyone have a tip how not to destroy them? Is there a special tool, or what? Sorry for the hijack...
Blue88Comanche
I'm about to remove mine for paint. Anyone have a tip how not to destroy them? Is there a special tool, or what?Sorry for the hijack... To remove them start on the front or rear side of the guard and rotate it upward. I only had one on my MJ so I removed it. I later found some in a P & P but the drivers side "the side without the guard" rusted and ballooned the clip locations somehow so now I and get the new guards on till I fix that
