whowey
There's a J2000 Gladiator in a fella's yard about 500 meters from me, it's windows are covered in green pine tree sap, hasn't moved in a while...and I want it so bad...it would be my daily driver in a heart beat. Then there's this FC150 which if I had the money to buy would be my daily too...only because of its "CDI" factor. I'll have it one day, and I will not be talked out of it! :fs1: I'd trade one of my kids straight up for that thing!!!
whowey
Any (all) of these.... Had one of each. Fended tops rotted out of the Concord. I taped them up, shot some paint on them and sold it to another high schooler. The Hornet wagon I had was a 304 equipped one. Yellow and black.. looked like a hornet. The unibody rusted in half on me. I wish I had kept that hood ornament.
whowey
IIRC there were less than 400 M6XX variants made, last number I read was only 35 or so of these survive. I just can't see why so many gearheads cream their pants over a chevelle or a corvette when hundred of thousands of those were made. M677s were the creme de la creme of FCs. I've seen two on ebay in the last two years and neither went for the ridiculous amounts that stupid mustangs and camaros go for, and there were millions of them made. I'd like to take an FC and crush one of those pretty painted girly muscle cars. I want to see the RV behind that thing...

HOrnbrod
If anyone buys them, send the one with the plow my way please ;) The blue one with the plow reminds me of when I was a high school kid working at a Sunoco station on I-95 in CT. The station owner had a blue FC just like this except with yellow accents (Sunoco colors). My favorite jobs were plowing the station grounds and going out on trouble calls pulling people out of snowbanks. They were super tough little tucks. They had gas stations back then Don? :D ;) I can't imagine how nose heavy an FC150 with a plow hanging off the front must be! Either way, it would make an awesome yard plow. But it was easily controlled with about 1000 lbs. of sandbags in the bed.
Comanche County
In 59' they added a massive weight under the back bumper to counter the tendency to tip forward if you got on the brakes hard. I think the plow would be fun on an FC!
