Detonator Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I hope yours gets put to good use. Mine is sitting on my front curb, intact, and waiting to be picked up by monthly bulky trash. So sad!
mvusse Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 Somebody somewhere must want it. I just can't get myself to take the sawzall to it and stuff it into the dumpster.
88mj2.5 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 i am interested in the bed liner do you think it could be cut down some to fit the short bed? if so i will take it I'm in the area
mvusse Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 The short bed Comanche is missing 7" in front of the rear wheels and 5" behind compared to a long bed. So you would have to cut off 5" off the back AND 7" off the front. Not worth the hassle in my opinion, but if you want to do it, all the more power to you.
88mj2.5 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 naw ill pass on that to much work need to find a short bed one. would you happen to have any other parts for sale I'm looking for a few interior pieces thanks Cody
mvusse Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 Got 90% of the interior from a 96 Cherokee in grey. No Comanche specific interior pieces, though.
88mj2.5 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I'm looking for the plastic piece.that goes over the stering colum behind the key and interior lights.not sure if the cherokee is the same
mvusse Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 Dome lights are not the same for the XJ, I believe the optional under dash lights are even though Comanches did not have them. This Cherokee didn't either. I will see if I can find that plastic piece. (The entire remains of the car have been shoved into a 4x4x8 space on a pallet rack.)
88mj2.5 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Ok no big deal if you can't hard to find parts for mjs around here
Keyav8r Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I would really like to have that bedliner, but driving to Ohio for it would cost more than buying a new one. Can't ship one without it getting trashed. I know what you mean about hating to cut it up.

Can you take a picture of what's missing? From your explanation I don't really know exactly what piece you need.
mvusse Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 Bump. Still sitting outside my shop. Tired of standing it back up after every storm that knocks it over.
GirsMJ86 Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 So close, and yet not close enough.. What's close enough? I'm going to be making a trip to Scranton soon, could probably pick the thing up and meet up somewhere for a small fee for the added hour or so if you met us somewhere near I-80.
TheDude Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I-80 is still an hour away. Also I don't know how I'd transport it because, right now I only have my Cherokee. The bed liner is for the Comanche I'm buying in a month or two that the seller is holding for me.
mvusse Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 Only 3 hours each way. What you should have posted is "ROAD TRIP!!!!"....
Megadan Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 I want this, and wish I only had a 6 hours round trip to get it. I'd have to spend the weekend just to get this thing, and I want it really bad!
