Des88MJ
I saw posts about using the Dakota rear brake hose when lifting, does anybody know how much of a lift they can handle? I plan on doing a axle flip with 2 inch blocks, so I guess that'll be 6 inches total. I also need to replace my E-brake cables, I heard about using 2 right side wrangler cables, is that true, and do I need to drop the transfer case? Pete M
Dakota hose should be plenty. but I'd advise against blocks in the rear. Going SOA increases spring wrap. adding blocks to the mix makes it even worse. :(
Des88MJ
Cool, thanks for the info, I'll just add a leaf to my packs for the extra inches, and get bigger anti wrap perches. How about the e-brake cables, any info on those?

89eliminator
you will get about 6" just by doing spring over. how much do you plan on lifting the front?
SW86
hell i just bent my hard line a tad and boom, done.
Des88MJ
I got 4 inch lift plus 2 inch pucks for the front. I need new hoses anyways, might as well get longer ones that are actually cheaper than the ones made for my truck. Bending the hard line in the rear would do nothing unless I modify/make a bracket to mount the hose lower, which by the way I'm not doing.

skidoo_j
Cheap Extended brake hoses for the front, would fit xj and mj Napa Part 38182 and 38183 they are about 4" longer not sure what they're from. they cost me 13 each. way better than any other i've found. they have a bracket you need to remove but for the price :)
