DREDnot Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 All the chain drive jeeps Ive owned, new or used, had a noticable whine in low range. 87 YJ, 90 YJ, 99 XJ, 05 LJ all the same. Even my 07 megacab.
mvusse Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Wilbur does, don't know about Sparkles, the Purple People Eater, the parts rig or (no longer with me) Booger as they hardly ever are in 4 low and I didn't pay attention. Wilbur has been doing it since I've owned it, and never a problem yet despite monthly abuse off road.
