Its my thought that to be able to own a firearm you need three things a lic. of some kind, a backround check, and a certification stating you know all the safety rules on handling a firearm safely, that you must re-new every so often or the goverment can take your firearm away from you. Look at the stupid idiot on "doomsday prepares." Legally bought a gun to protect himself and his family. Goes shooting and blows his own thumb off. If your not a hunter you shouldent be handling firearms. I am a hunter. I was given my first BB gun at 6. I was also the youngest person In the State of California to pass hunter safety also at the age of 6. I have never blown my owns thumbs off. Republicans only have three reasons not to support Obama. 1. Religion 2. misinformation 3. Gun control. Some people don't like things that are different. Fox news has Obama haters feeding from their hands. If you think Romney is pro gun go do some research. Gun control is always used against the democrats and to scare country folk into voting against them. Sure the city dems don't understand guns. But it is a constitutional right. Even if Gabby Giffords were president she would not be able to ban firearms. Its physically impossible. Look at the war on drugs. All it has done is created crime and punishment. Filling the pockets of the Prison industrial complex. Republicans are the war on drugs. I don't hear people complaining about the billions spent every year busting pot heads.
