I had to modify the thermostat housing and put the inlet on the opposite side. modified thermostat housing thermostat housing installed lower radiator hose I'm working on the heater hoses next and will post pics when they are done.

Built some custom fuel line fittings Got the fuel lines all ran Got the clutch all hooked up with a stainless line Will be building a snorkle for this since i have to do a custom intake anyways. The start of the snorkle My inline air filter for the snorkle I couldnt figure out how to get rid of both the tranny computer and the ecm so i ordered a complete Painless Wiring harness

Tux_Fan Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 I originally bought my '89 to do the OM617 swap to. I decided not to do it as when I bought the truck it only had 130k miles... When I get out of school I will probably swap one in... Anyway, awesome work. Very clean swap if I do say so myself. Do you have any idea on what your costs were for the swap? Stephen
