Thats a speed switch, it makes the car go faster.

That's a ESC. Not a CLS. It turns the electrons on an off. When the electrons are flowing front to rear, the truck goes faster. When the electrons are flowing rear to front, the truck goes slower.

ESC= Electron Speed Controller

CLS=Cargo Light Switch
