Geonovast
All that work to keep it going and nice, and he has a butt ugly aftermarket racing tach instead of upgrading to the full cluster... :shake:
jpdocdave
^ I would assume that is to keep all the original equipment in place, if it was a replacement cluster it may take away from the whole theme here with the 600k vehicle, since that is where the odometer is. Darren
I wonder what condition the door hinges are in.

Might be just fine, judging by the condition of the seat its a skinny little guy not some big fatarse who uses the door like a crutch getting in and out. Eh... when I went to a full gauge cluster in both my MJs, I kept the original speedo in the new cluster.

I'm not saying its not possible, or to even reset the mileage on a new cluster, I just think he doesn't want anything to comprimise the integrity of his mileage claim. Most of the reason to own a vehicle like that is for the mileage bragging rights, mercedes owners are the same way. Jeep really needs to have a mileage club just like mercedes does. Sorry, that is all I meant by original, so no one can say it's a different cluster. And the original engine was a high point, that's all.
xjrev10
:shake: Its still a 4.0 that has 600k rounds on it. Pretty amazing and the body of Jeep is still in what looks to be great shape.
