1990 Pioneer 4x4
Both hands at the same time, palms, fingers, when in use, not in use, before or after ya did out the am buggers… Probably would need more info for a diagnosis. I’d wait until the ins. kicks-in and get a qualified opinion.
Kenbob
if you have been doing lots of work on your comanche (especially pounding out fenders) or have been surfing the comancheclub web too much it could be carpel tunnel. It is a bit unusual to be both hands. Mine acted up when I built my house. Doc said the hammering agrivated it, but he said it probably started from typing on a computer 40 yrs a week for 20 years. JeepcoMJ
occasionally this happens to me, as well. but when it happens, both hands get a tingly sensation up to mid forearm, and my left hand locks up, then moves by itself, and then it ends. thought it was a form of epilepsy since that has ocurred in family history, but it turns out that the shifted disc in my back is causing some nerve issues...including Multiple Directional Instability in my right shoulder (i.e. destroyed rotator cuff due to lack of unconscious muscle control on the upper right side of my back...I have to concentrate on proper posture at all times). anyways, I guess my point is...it could be tied to almost anything. it could be tied to iron poising even, depending on what type of "pain" there is. jpdocdave
I've had similar issues, I wake up and my hands are locked up, the middle two fingers are stuck in the closed position. I've had some extreme, and I mean extreme pain in the dead center of my palm when working on something, to the point where my hand is so weak I can't hold anything for 15 minutes. I've traced it to tendinitis on my own, never checked out by a doctor. It is directly related to how hard I use my hands during the day. I also have a friend with carpoltunnel (sp) and that is affected by how you sleep and circulation also.
xjrev10
If I'm very active in doing something, say mig welding for 10 or so hours, my hands will be sore for a couple days. Weird sore. I went to the doctor and they tryed to give me some pills for when they are sore. Is a perscription the cure-all nowadays? I declined the drugs and just deal with it. But i cannot say that it has ever woke me up at night. Usually for the next couple days after, I have no grip. I probably could not even hold myself up on the monkey bars at the local playground LOL, or even grip a wrench. But it goes away eventually..till the next time.. Let us know what you find out. Miserable thing to deal with man.
TheJeepNut
I never was much on chiropractors until I finally just hurt so bad I went to one out of desperation more or less. (read my wife's nagging at my constant complaining) I was lucky and found a really great one. Resolved severe pain I'd been having for years off and on. It ain't all about the back. You can DEFINITELY hurt somewhere else and a couple of trips to the chiropractor could resolve it. YMMV. ;)
