Got the motor put in with the mounts and fly wheel on. Went to put the transmission in and guess what no inspection plates and transmission bolts are to be found!!!! So i have to get those before we go any farther!! But my cherokee donor of course has them but the problem is that is a lot of work for some plates and bolts.

i do plan on having 4x4! what bolts from the donor I'm confused? I'm looking for the heater control valve location and the vacuum? i have the piece but it looks like it goes to the cooling system some where. i don't know where it goes.

kinda an old post but did you notice any significant difference with rustys throttle spacer?

the answer is still unknown to that. i ended up taking it off due to the linkage being short i didn't realize that you end up having to cut your linkage in half. i have the extra one that i will cut and try to make work but ill get pics up on that for sure when the truck is running for good. right now my goal is to get it running. i worked on this weekend and we grabbed a piece of wire and bypassed the starter to her the engine turn over she sounds mean. thats all we got tho the cranck sensor i still gotta get in. hopefully she will be good to go soon.

i got them went to a junk yard where they just took the engine out of a cherokee with the same transmission so i lucked out there!

still don't have a drawing or a pic of the heater control valve i googled it and all still no luck with that. I'm also have a hard time trying to figure out where the crank position sensor plugs in too i know where it goes on the transmission.

here's my yellow top I just put into my comanche. it fit just fine. if you have them look up a cherokee or comanche size battery at any of the part stores they can get the right size.

well i tried orielly and autozone they say the optima was not an option according to the system. however they had yellow/ gold tops in their own brand. bastards don't wanna help or make some money.

Well today I found more grounds a couple more things to plug in like the fuel pump. Also found out I have a fuel leak in the fuel rail. Up front it sprayed everywhere. Does anyone know what this could be from and my next question how do u fix it? Still have some issues with the rear drive line. Doesn't seem to wanna go on. I get a couple cm's and then it stops. I wanna take a hammer to it so bad. Got the transmission lines in and cooler mounts. I also installed my freshly bedlined stock bumper. Looks good to be honest. Installed a new "wash fluid tank" it's got 2 motors my old one had only one! I wonder why? So I just plugged the other one for now. Also got the hood back on. Also installed the crank position sensor. Still no luck on starting from key or at all. All my grounds are on and tight. So I'm stuck on what to do next. My buddy thinks it could be the computer from the 1989 jeep Cherokee and doesn't think it will won't on the Comanche. I'll post pics soon.
