skidoo_j
Turns out it was the tires. Les Schwab refused to warranty them. They had 75% tread, but because i had removed the studs myself and used them off road no warranty. They ran them on the "road force" and found 3 of the tires to be over double the allowable threshold from being out of round. Since I purchased some goodyear Duratrac 31x10.5x15 I love them. 0-85 not a problem yet and almost 5k on them.
Eagle
Turns out it was the tires. Amazing. I'm shocked -- SHOCKED! I say. Tires. Who'd a thunk it? The usual cause is wheel balance. ^^October 23, 2010^^
cz777
Death wobble is in the steering and not the driveshaft. IIRC YJ has a longer yoke. Count the splines and check the diameter though one other thing will do this is the high point of the tracking bar-driver's side ..that funny 4 bolt mounting post if /or when the bolts break ,oh hell happens !!! see the lower bushing wear out as well ...so learned lesson wash off the mud and do a look over .....cuss words later please !
