pinion bearing

Recommended Posts

it's a pain.

you have to remove the axle shafts, the carrier

you have to remove the pinion nut, pinion and, pinion gear/race

put on new bearing, pound in race, reassemble.

you doing this on or off the truck?

i think i found a 8.25 for it jamminz.gif :clapping:

that's a much better way to replace pinion bearings

X2 :D

I have done gear lube, brake cylinders, and a new cover on my d35... brake cylinders can be reused on an 8.25 and I got the cover for free. When I get some free time the 8.25 I have is going into the MJ  and the d35 is being gutted for parts.
