1990 comanche *update*

Ok jus got this thing a week ago. i started i did calipers,pads,hoses,rotors,master cyl, hard lines in the front. an about to start to runnin new hard lines to the back an doin new drums, shoes, wheel cyl, than after that I'm gonna do a ford 8.8 and a soa. but here's a pic of it now. ill have more as i go. let me know wut ya think

Why do all the brake work in the back if you're going to swap in a 8.8? Mine 1990 started out pretty similar to that about 7 months ago.

ya i think this is a 89 titled as a 90 all my brake parts in the front were from a 89.

it will be a slow build.

my mom wants me too or i can't drive it and i can't get a petal with the bacl breaks bein crimped off. and its gonna need the hard lines anyway.

ok here's some better pics its clean. and i painted the rims, grill headlight and headlight bezels.

and i just ordered up a 4.5in rc aal kit let me know what ya think

actually i changed my mind i was reading about them. i ended up going with 4.5in rough country aal kit

AAL? that sounds like a whole lotta lift from an AAL. got a link?

wouldnt it the the soa conversion to get the first 3"inches,

then with the aal it would add the extra 1 1/2 inches?

SOA gives anywhere from 4.5" up to 6" depending on the state of your leafs.

 

the AAL lift sounds like the XJ version of the lift. The MJ version is probably SOA or possibly full leafpacks.

ok jus picked up some gamblers on ok 30/9.5/ bfg at's on greatlakes4x4 looks a whole lot better. and tonight i started taking the sport truck stichers off here's some pics

ok i havent updte in awhile but i stilll got it only thing ive done to it is drive it and put 2in coil spacers on it and cut the fenders

here's with the stock 215's on the rear an 30's on the fron with the coil spacers

here's fter i cut the fenders in the front

and here it is earning its keep

I love the lights! :clapping: What happened to the RC 4.5" lift kit? Btw its NOT SOA

Front: Lifted coil springs, lower control arms, transfer case drop kit, extended sway-bar links, brake line relocation brackets & hardware.

 

Rear: Add-a-leafs, shackles & hardware.

 

Shocks: Includes (4) Hydro 8000 series shocks.

thanks i think they make it look sweet and i was gonna put it on another mj i had then i sold the truck thn sold this one and the lift and i just bought this one back a few months ago lol long confusing story but i can't keep a truck long :rotf:
