My morning is never good. I have a 7 mile commute to work that currently takes about 35-40 minutes because the geniuses at the planning board decided to do road construction on 3 adjacent roads all at the same time...one of which is my main route to work and the other two are alternates. I now have to do a biggggg loop around multiple towns to get to work.

Idiots.

Sorry for pooping up your happy, good morning thread :waving:

I woke up a bit after you... hit lowes for parts to fix a friend's MJ... headed for work.

7 hours till I get outta here and pick up a new spare engine! Not having a spare on hand for nearly everything in a vehicle makes me nervous.

It's a beautiful morning. Sitting in the swing, enjoying my coffee, watching the bunnies playing in the yard, humming birds at the feeder, feeling the warm sun on my tired aching bones, the horses hanging their heads over the fence with the most pitiful look on their faces waiting to be fed, chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, cluckin, quackin, waiting to get fed, I'm just leaning back enjoying the beauty of it all,,,,,,,,,,,,,WHAT THE H*LL, a #$*&%$^ bird just pooped in my coffee cup. :fs1:

Don't you love things like this? My commute was only about 15 minutes down the road so maybe uhmm 3 miles max with traffic, then they decided it would be a fantastic idea to start night road work in the center of town, in the morning I catch the crews packing up causing traffic to pile up well they fiddle with cones and barrels, then when I leave work and head over to my night job I catch them setting up :fs1: There is no winning for me :fs1:

:wavey: , I'm up at that lovely hour monday through friday, an up by 6 on saturdays. The money's nice, and I'm gettin used to the waking up early. I actually kinda like it now

I like that I've basically forced my body to no longer be tired after getting 5-6 hours of sleep per night. It wasn't an easy adjustment after my 8-10 hour/night of sleep during college, but now the days are longer and I usually get more accomplished :)

I went the other way... in college I generally got 4 to 5 hours a night and did at least an allnighter a week, sometimes not even for school reasons, just because I felt like it... now I go to sleep around 10-11 and wake up at 6 to 7.

I love me a weekend morning! Finally got to sleep until 10am. I was amazed nobody woke me up for some little reason, and nothing happened to make me get up! (No fallen tree's on my roof, nobody lit the stove on fire, no nothing!) It's going to be a good day! I think today I will treat myself and take the wife's Yj out and leave her stranded at home! (She refuses to drive my Mj, and the Xj has a dead battery :nanner: )

I love how at a certain age small victories like knowing a certain someone can't leave the house makes you feel god

saturday I woke up at 7am without an alarm... drove the massivemobile about 200 miles, got home and was gonna relax and got a call from a friend who went wheeling alone and got his @$$ stuck, so back into the massivemobile I went and hauled his @$$ out, then went home and fell asleep. Woke up at 9am today feeling like I was beaten badly.
