JeepcoMJ Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Let me start off saying this thing was NOT salvageable. the frame freakjeep'd it, although someone did a VERY good job of repairing the frame and giving it a few more years. I didn't save any interior, but the motor lives in geonovast's '88 xj, some small electrical components, transfercase, and exhaust were saved as well as the almost newgas tank that was in it, and the split rear slider and seal. on to the pics
jimoshel Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 So what was wrong with it? I mean a little Bondo, a little duct tape, good as new. :rotf:
JeepcoMJ Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 lol, it actually drove 25 miles to a friend's house before we stripped it. but, with the frame rot and repairs, the crap floors, the front end collision, and the mice etc. in it...not saveable.
mfpdm Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Should of saved the back of the cab and roof for a Cheromanche. Then a trailer with what was left.
JeepcoMJ Posted May 17, 2010 Author Posted May 17, 2010 The inside of the cab b pillars were rusted too, and I don't need more peojects so the cheromanche thing is no bueno. As far as the rear section goes...the frame literally went freakjeep and the bed was mostly bondo so that wasn't possible. I saved everything worthwhile$
tazjeeper Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I thionk of two things when I see things like this... to bad and oh well just makes the ones out their worth more...
