90eliminator Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Hey guys, got a 90 eliminator...4.0 aw4, 231... It now cranks but does not run. I jumped in it to go to work the other day, and started it, back out of my driveway where it died, I pushed it back into my driveway and took the other truck...but whats up with this thing. It has done this before but it has always started back up. Any ideas on where to start. How do i check my Throttle sensor, or Crank sensor....thanks in Advance....
mopwrd340 Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 check to see if fuel pump is working and more then likely it is a cps just had mine replaced on wensday
Wildman Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Unplug and plug the CPS connector as quick check. Check the ballast resistor for the fuel pump, by-pass it first. If the above quick checks don't do it, time for :wrench:
