Just making the point. When you have different types of metal, cast, forged, tin aluminum, etc changing temperature they make noises. It's normal.

My 88 makes the same ticking noises after shutdown, cold or hot. been doing it for years and it hasn't blown up yet. :D still don't know what it is though. :dunno:

i swear to god ihear sounds all the time

i find myself driving with the radio and heater off (when I'm warm) to just listen to see what i have to fix next! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

 

but I'm cool with that noise and smoke? :dunno:

 

I'm the opposite, when I hear a noise i just turn the radio up.
