Piecing together a SUPER 30

Looking at a SUPER 30 setup, but I want an E-Locker instead of an ARB. My question is, If I were to get this and this would they work together (ie, would these shafts go into this carrier), and give me basically a SUPER 30 setup? Also, would a setup like this be comparable to a dana 44, or what could it be compared to strength wise?

yes it would work. strength wise it wouldnt be comparable to a D44.

feel free to add some sort of truss. you can make the innards indestructible, but still lose parts to axle tube deflection. :(

how can you weld on an axle tube without deflection?

very slowly. :thumbsup: tack it in place, let it cool. weld an inch, let it cool. weld another inch in a different spot, let it cool. etc.

Basically with a super 30 you have D44 size shafts. Do a super 30 kit does nothing to address wheel bearings and the tubes on the d30.

 

 

For the price of the super 30 kit.. I would seriously look at building a waggy d44 or other real d44.
