GEARS:

So all of the gears 4.11, 4.56, 4.88 all the same price...

 

4.11's n 4spd ?

or

4.56's n 5spd ?

gotta ask before we get too deep into this. Do you know how to set up gears?

thats basically the same setup i have except i have a flowmaster,it sounds alot better then stock.:thumbsup:

Video doesn't do it justice but it was the best i could do. . .Not sure which brand it is but its round in shape its through flow design and its shiny chrome ish colored. . .

:dunno: sorta but not really . . . Tis why i have a Gear man ;) works barter . . .

 

He's an off road enthusiast I'm all about aggressive tires, i can find him more aggressive tire for less money its win win situation jamminz.gif

gotcha. long as they are being installed properly. :thumbsup: I still can't condone spending that kind of dough on a Dana 35. Especially when there are 4.10 axles out there in the junkyards. Explorer 8.8s with disk brakes no less. I've never paid more than $150 for one, complete.

 

Regardless, I would hesitate going above 4.10 without adding an overdrive trans. although, since you're going to a bigger tire, maybe 4.56 depending on how much freeway travel it sees.

The Comanche itself also has a ways to go before it'll get the larger tires, the once it has them i will see how it performs with the stock gear's . . .

 

which will then give me time to figure out about how it'll be used then i can adjust the gearing from there . . .

 

Alternator is flaky being flaky and the shock's including the steering stabilizer are long gone shot :(
