She runs hot

So my 88 4.0L over heats when she idles. I did the thermistat and it still over heats :fs1: . What could it be?

Fan clutch.

make sure the cap on the coolant bottle is sealing,ive seen several were the the cap doesnt seal and they would overheat at idle.

No shroud, no e-fan <-- i was planning on putting one in but anything involving wires confuses me lol

Replace the viscous fan clutch, and get a shroud.

Alright, so I'm gonna pick up a new fan cluth, I think I have a shroud and an e-fan in the attic. If I don't have a e-fan in the truck already would the plug be there or am I gonna have to cut and splice wires? I figure I might as well do everything and have alittle back up cooling. :brows:
