69CamaroSS Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 did they ever make a liberty with a 4.0 in it? I swear i saw one driving around the other day. Just wondering if it was real or someone just slapped a 4.0 sticker on it. If they actually did, anyone got a link for me?

ComancheKid45 Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 The 09+ Libertys were available with an optional 4.0L V6, same as available in the Dodge Nitro, and Grand Caravan. They were just starting to pop up before the Dealership i worked at was sold.

69CamaroSS Posted October 17, 2009 Author Posted October 17, 2009 i knew it. my buddy and i betted eachother a drink if they made them or not. the thing is he said it doesnt count because he said we were talking about the I6 not a V6. i didnt realize it wasnt the I6 when we betted. but isnt a 4.0 a 4.0 when you make a bet? i dunno what you all think? i lose or or win the bet? :???:

aemsee Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 sorry to burst your bubble. No 4.0 Libertys (KK or KJ). The 4.0 (based on the 3.5L) is only available in the Nitro (KA).
