88XJSport
I want to get a new negative cable for my Jeep and the Oreilly website shows a 48 inch and a 53 inch. What size is our negative cable for the 4.0? Sorry I'm not near my Jeep to measure myself. Thanks.
ejndssn
either one should work I believe mine was just shy of 36" and the mount location was the aft part of the engine block. (89 commanche) you may want to upgrade to a larger gauge of cable  vice the standard 4g. and check your grounds as well.
88XJSport
Thank You. I think Ill shoot for the 2 gauge then, since I already replaced the braided strap with a 2 ga. wire.

HOrnbrod
Agree X1000. Jon's a good guy, very knowledgable, and stands 100% behind his products. He's an expert Renix guy, and after adding his complete kit after my HO alternator upgrade, I had sensing problems w. my OEM voltmeter. But we figured it out after many emails back and forth. The cure was reinstalling the stock VM sensing wire as designed, and it all is well.
