mfpdm
Never really got the hunting bird thing or hunting anything so I recommend this Probably a hell of a lot more fun to shoot and when you got bored of hunting, you could lay waste to some old cans or something. HOrnbrod
Grew up hunting partridge in VT useing a Savage side-by-side .410 double, full choke & modified on the other. Doesn't tear up the bird too bad and if you can't nail it w. two shots you don't deserve it.
dunl
Get a 20 and get a 12. That way, you can use both for partridge if you like (pay attention to shot size), and the 12 will be suitable for geese and ducks too. You are going to hunt more than partridge, right? I assume there's just a little bit of wetlands near the Bay of Fundy, right? :D
