that pic woulda helped if the camera were panned a little more to the right.

 

but i think i figgered it out... shackles in the front... image in my head is of the rear of the leaf...

 

that makes sense rite?...

Rear suspension of the GMC C6500 at work doesn't have shackles. One end of the spring is bolted, other end of the spring has no eye. It rests in a bracket and is allowed to slide in said bracket to allow for suspension flex.

Nothing wrong with it. It's used on many trucks and trailers.

i might just try that some day but anyway i found my shackles and ill fix my dumb@$$ when i start takin the other truck apart ..... i hate being stupid ... :dunce:
