Skid Plates

So what do you guys use for skid plates and how do you mount them?

I used a stock skid plate I found in the JY. Got it for $20.

You have to forgive me as I am a little new to jeeps - were does it attach to? It's nothing like my subarus, that's for sure.

I have an OEM Front Steering parts ect skid and an Aftermarket Ft Diff Skid.

Well all those are custom so get under the jeep and make some measurements and start making them up.

Well pretty much pick a spot on the uni rail and weld up some nuts and bolt your skid to it. You can buy skids for engine, front steering, gas tank, and tcase and tranny, what else you need is custom.

My t-case skid attaches to angle iron that has 1/2" grade 8 bolts that go sideways through the frame.
