Do it. For $500 and its all there you can junk it out and get most of your money back if your unhappy with it. With the SBC in it you'll have more after-market options for engine goodies.

MPG gonna suck, but, thats to be expected with any old USofA equipment.

You can get Rhino grilles(from a gladiator) either on ifsja.org or ebay. You'll need CJ buckets to swap out your square headlights.

That would definately be a good "investment".I'd be tempted to swap in an AMC 360 or even a 401 and a TH400 and you could probably make money on the SBC 350.

i would def get it dosent look that bad for how old and looks like a great project and u can get more then what u paid if u decided u don't want it and junk it. But i love those trucks wish i could find one

I'd buy it. I think if I can cobble my GMC together sometime I might try to sell it and find a j-truck to replace it.

if that were for sale here, it would already be in my driveway for $500. get it. pull the sbc and put jeep stuff back in it. i think that's dirt cheap for a complete and running rig. get it!!!! :thumbsup:
