Is $300 a good price for 5 Rubicon wheels (they are 5 x 4.5)with no tires? Just wondering before i drive 2.5 hours to pick them up.

I would not pay more that $200 for a set of factory Rubicon wheels. There is nothing special about them and there are a lot of them around...AND...there is no way that I would pay that price and still have to drive 2.5 hours to get them. Bend over...your getting it good on that deal

If they had good, desireable tires on them, then they would be worth $300 and the trip.

I am headed to pick some Moabs up next week, about 2.5 hrs away for $200. They have been blasted and I anticipate painting them with Dupicolor wheel coating. That is a silly good price in this area. Plus they were off an '05, so they were not the polished aluminum the 03/04 had:thumbsup:

Heck, I was looking for factory Canyons, Eccos, and Ravines for the MJ and could not find a local asking price under $250 for just wheels, in good shape. People are proud of their stock wheels in this area. Makes me sick.

I would say $300 is a good price for the wheel in good shape. They are 16" aluminum wheels so they won't be dirt cheap, no matter the design.

Well after some reading what everyone wrote i decided not to get them. I am going to wait patiently and find a better price on either canyons or ravines.

I got all 5 of mine with nice MTRs for $175 :dunno:

What a deal! I just sold all five of my polished Rubicon wheels and MTRs with lots of tread on them for $400.
