What tail light is this?

So I saw THIS on ebay. Isn't this a Dakota tail light. Comanches only came in red, black trim, and chrome trim to my knowledge. Never a combination of black and chrome. Also the screw holes don't match that of a comanche along with the rounded corners of the lens. So am I wrong here?

Now I know there are some rumors that there was one year from the Dakota's that would fit the MJ's but I have yet to see proof of that. Regardless of that fact, I think that is a Dakota tail light.

The mounting holes indicate that it's from a Dakota. Better let the seller know before someone gets screwed.

Thanks for the information. However, it looks exactly like 1039 to me. And since we deal exclusively in Jeeps and I have never ever, not a once had a Dakota in my yard, it seems it's from the Comanche that I pulled it off of.

 

1039 is the last four of one of the other comanche tail light auctions.

I've been dealing EXPLICITLY in comanches for 5 years, and have had more than 15 of them pass through hands not to mention what I've gotten parts (especially tail lights) for at the junk yard.

 

that is NOT a comanche tail light. if it was in a comanche, great. that proves to us that a dodge dakota tail light does fit in a comanche bedside with some modifications.

 

We're 100% agreed on comancheclub.com that those tail lights are not off of a comanche. That's alot and considering that we on cc.com specialize in comanches, perhaps you should take that in effect.
