Starbuck75 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Hey guys I am possibly looking at an 86 manche for 1500 canadian. This seems pretty high to me but they are fairly rare up here, they guy has apparently put alot of work into it and hes says 1500 would barely cover the recent parts hes put into it. It is a 2.5 manual 4x4. If i buy it for this much money it would have to be my dedicated offroader for the near future. My budget permits buying this (keep in mind I am 18 and not making the big bucks)but I'm not sure how much everything else i would want to put on here would set my back.
comanche13 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 DO IT!!! if its in good shape and not alot of rust
BLHTAZ Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 :agree: If it's in good shape and running good, it is worth that.
JeepcoMJ Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 well. it's only worth that if it's the 4 cylinder. the 86 2.8 liter is a piece of crap
Red 1989 MJ Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 If it's clean, go Make a little rust inspection. - surface rust - under carpet floor rusted I bought mine last year(2008) for $1000 CAN
Cheech Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I found mine with very little rust and oiled annually last spring and paid $500 Cdn for it. It is also an 86 2.5
Starbuck75 Posted March 26, 2009 Author Posted March 26, 2009 Thanks for the help guys I think I'm gonna go for it since its that price for the work he's put into I I'm pretty sure it will be worth it. Hopefully soon ill have some pics of it to put up
WahooSteeler Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 well. it's only worth that if it's the 4 cylinder. the 86 2.8 liter is a piece of crap That's what I was gonna say. Do it!
