well i had to replace my whole exhuast from the motor back. when i bought tht e truck it had a cat welded onto a cherrybomb glasspack. it actually sounded pretty good but it needed to be changed. so i go to go to school and my whole exhaust just fell off so i had to replace it. i got everything from motor back for $301. so now my truck is really quiet. its kinda nice but i don't like not being able to hear it. so i was wondering what would be a good muffler just to give it a little more tone? I'm not looking for monster horsepower out it, or super loud, i just want to be able to hear it again. if anyone is running something videos or sound clips would be great thanks! jamminz.gif

May be a little louder than what you want, but here's mine...

what muffler that? and is it possible to get it with just a single exhaust?

Yes...it's a Flowmaster 40 and they do make them with a single out. The single one is what 89eliminator posted in his video

Yep...you can see in my picture that we used the stock pipe on the right side (just cut a little off the back) and only had to make a new one for the left. Saved me a little money ;)

I had them made with little turn downs just behind the bumper because I don't like to see tail pipes sticking out. Exhaust should be heard...not seen IMO.

I ditched the cat and put a dynomax welded stainless ultra flow on mine as the ultra quiet fell apart after a couple months. I liked how quiet the old one was, but I am getting old. The new one has not bad tone at idle, but gets a bit snappy at 3000 +/- rpms. Structurally it is holding up very well. I don't have a video camera any more or I would post a clip.

I have a 2.5" Flowmaster 40 laying around that I was thinking about putting on the truck. Definitely gonna put it on now.

If you like a fair amount of noise, the FM 40 is the way to go. I like it loud and so does my wife if you can believe that. She has always wanted a Wrangler or CJ with the V-8 and true dual exhaust with the glass pack header mufflers.
