MJZJ
I went to change the oil on my MJ for the first time and I can't get the damn drain plug loose. I have put all I got on it and it won't come loose. Any ideas?

mvusse
Breaker bar with longer handle. or slide a piece of pipe over the handle to make it longer. I have yet to find a bolt I couldn't get loose (or break off) with a 4 foot pipe attached to my 18" breaker bar. Although I bent the pipe on a few. Pete M
As long as the bolt doesn't strip, leverage should work. If it strips, then you get to be creative. My bro-in-law's neon had a plug that could have been welded on. In the end we bashed a too-small socket on to it. :D
MJZJ
I got that S.O.B.! Lots of wd40 and some heavy @$$. I also did as told and let the engine warm up some. Thanks to all.
jtdesigns
You should always change the oil warm.. It helps to get any particles that might have collected at the bottom of the pan.. And it also lets the oil gunk flow out easier...
