ejndssn Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 i do beleive that the D50 was in the same realm as the chevy LUV & ford courier and a by product of mitsubishi i could be wrong but that is what i remeber. aemsee Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 Yes the Ram 50 is a Mitsu pick up. The front is IFS, the rear is a third member set up, and fairly strong. And you'd be better off swapping the entire axle than swapping the gears. Unless you want to do a gear setup. Which I can assure you that you don't. And I'm not a fan of used gears anyways.
