The '86 never came with that option so I'm assuming that someone swapped it in at somepoint. Give us some more info on what you have as far as the motor/tranny combo goes. It the lights work and it won't even crank I'd check to see if you have power to the starter. If it's an auto (Aw4) it may be the NSS. Try putting the tranny in (N) and see if it turns over. BookspanS Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 Check ALL the plugs on the Soleniod...as with many problems I had. I had the same problem and it just turned out to be a loose plug there, I had someone turn the key while i messed with the wires til one of them kicked the fuel pump on then it started right up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
