I'm looking ofr a good and cheap lift for my 86 jeep mj 2.5l 2wd longbed i know your saying why would you put a lift on a 2wd but i just want it to be higher than stock its looks bad siting so low its like a car like an elcamino lol although i love my mj i hate to say that but i need your help in finding me a cheap lift or ideas i am really wanting to buy a used set of coil springs or something I'm not quite sure just help me out pm me if you replyed to this so i know :cheers:

coil spacers and chevy truck shackles, not 100% but as many times Ive read about lifting on here I think that would be what I'd do.. but........ I'm planning on dropping my lil bucket...

Budget boost.

 

1-3/4" coil spacers for the front, shackles or AAL for the rear. Personally, I think longer shackles kill the springs. I'd go with a Rancho long AAL kit for th rear.

If you can find a set of decent condition 4x4 MJ coils/leafs, they will boost you up by an inch. Maybe more if your truck is sagging.

 

Don't forget that any change in height will tweak you alignment.

how can i tell how much my alignment is off when i do lift it

 

Take it to a shop to have a front wheel alignment done after the lift is on.
