Black with a chrome lip, like the Firebirds of the 80s? I kinda like that idea. I may have to bring a can of paint with me on the next trip down. :brows:

Here ya go. Legitimate progress. I inflated the tire and installed the new fender. :D I didn't say it was a lot of progress... :shake:

More "progress". I brought my 97 grille down with me last trip and strapped it to the front with some wire. :D

well, a whole lotta "life" has happened in the last 10 years, but rest assured she's sitting comfortably with my old 88 next to the barn under a big canopy.   right now she's just a big storage unit (found a topper for the bed) but some day she'll be much more.   I've got the HO XJ harness and such down here now, but the engine and trans I want to use are still in a shed in Michigan.   

 

of course after seeing a few LS swaps, that plan may change...
