jage
I bought these: For $109.90 shipped OH to IN... figured if they were bad (they were ouch!) I'd just ship 'em back and eat like $30 for my trouble... Guess what? UPS wants $116 something to ship them back! And she couldn't understand why I didn't want to do it. They're only 24 lbs... and I went directly to the UPS dock too, not one of those UPS stores. FedEx wasn't much better, I guess it's because I'm just a walk-in and don't have a business contract. Anyway, I'm not paying near or more than I bought 'em for to return 'em. I'm calling 4wdhardware tomorrow see if they'll charge me for a pre-paid label to return them. If not I'll find somebody who ships at work who'll let me pay them. What a total PITA!

feerocknok
Those look like some hard f'in seats!
jage
Hard nothin, they're narrow. It's like they took another racing seat and copied the shape of the seat empty instead of copying it ocupado. You sit in one and suddenly $700/seat doesn't sound quite that bad. Anyway, called 4 wheel parts and they also want an outrageous $$ for shipping but what the heck I give up. Any guesses how much? $8.00 It just makes UPSs $116 that much more ridiculous. I'm going to start a business just so I can ship stuff on the cheap. JeeppinTom
I wish Dateline or 20/20 would do a investigation on these type of scams.
pingpong
Check out PRPseats.com Those are the seats I am running, and by far they are the most comfortable setas I have found. They also come in wide widths :brows: which make a difference for those of us who are fighting the battle of the bulge and loosing  I could have told you that thoseplastics seats were going to beat your eyes out
jage
It was pretty obvious the plastic seats were going to be bad, but $50 each compared to $250+ each for other seats... well I thought maybe I could live with it for awhile. Can I come sit in your truck? :D
SaharaTJ
try summit racing! they have some good seats an comfy for like 120ish per and a buddy has a set in his yj and the only bad thing is that the edges are a little tough on the legs but its also a climb to get into a lifted yj, on an mj it will be much easier since its more open and its not a jump to get over everything. If you want i can look at their ohio shop since i'm going there over the weekend to pick some stuff up on my mini vacation. Oh and they are the apc i think they are called and recline back too i'll ask him about the info.
pingpong
My suspension seats were 179 a piece. Keep in mind that you get to pick the colors, and these are suspension seats, by far they are more comfortable then any other seat I have ever sat in. I know a couple of ppl running the plastic seats like you ordered, and they ran them for one run and then ordered a different style of seat. Trust me Your back and kidneys will thank you later in life
