So, one of my co-workers got a hernia.

We were all sitting around drinking and BSing tonight, and I decided I wanted to see what it looked like.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. I'm not lifting heavy objects ever again.

That is all.

He'd had it for a couple months and was waiting for surgery. But it 'ruptured' on him 3 nights ago. Hopefully the wonder of our universal healthcare can get it fixed for him within a month. If he's lucky

I just had surgery this past Thursday for a hernia. Have been living on vicodin since. :chillin: I'll be off from work 2 weeks and then 10 weeks limited duty. All this time off and no wrenching, totally sucks.

If a hernia ruptures or get s strangulated...you can die in a short time. ;)

oh. um.

yea...so what does surgery on a hernia cost? zero insurance btw...which is why i haven't attended to it (I cannot afford any more debt...)

maybe its time to sell one of those mj's and get your balls fixed.

neither of them are worth anything (or at least not enough for this anyways). the 87 has to stay as it's my only driver, and the 3800 has a blown motor, leaky trans, damaged rear quarter panel, and rusty cab corners.

It's been here a long time...

Take out a loan or whatever is needed. If you don't fix it, it'll get worse, and besides the risk of death (which is at least a minor inconvenience) the surgery price will go up the worse it gets.
