  1. i have the borla on my '87 xj should fit the mj no prob. put a banks on the mj and it's just a stock replacement. didn't get the down pipe and it just bolted right up to my stock one. shouldn't have any prob with linkage that's what the cross-over is for.
  2. i remembered why i haven't done the jks kit yet..... i'd have to redo my frt bumper mounts. i 'm too fricken lazy. :D edit: drunk sounds good though.
  3. anything is better than nothing.... 8 bucks or not. and the more 1 is just a tube that bolts through the pass side frame holes and clampe to the lower part of the box.... just like any other steering box brace/support.
  4. HA! 6'1 lol   do you "fit" easily..lol That was what I was thinking as well. We are short because tall guys buy XJs so they can fit better. thats nothing I'm 6'4 and i go some extra baggage but i fit fine and i am pretty comfortable i call bs... this is a buddy on mine who is 6'4" 280. his knees are as high as the dash. felt like he had the pass side seat all the way up... but it's a bench. :D Image Not Found
  5. i have a m.o.r.e. brace on my xj.... probably has kept my frame from cracking. i do have the jks kit... just haven't installed it yet.
  6. plus if it's built right you won't have to get out and fix it. :D
  7. ok not my mj but it is my junk. i'd like to do the same on the mj but protect the taillights/body. maybe a little more bumper sticking out for a step.
  8. i think amc just wanted to make sure that the public knew comanche pickups were 4wd. i think they were off an '86.
  9. kind of like the idea...

  11. good start. you could have used your inner handle to open the door. just have to reach in and opeen it from the inside.... you get use to doing it after a couple of runs. plus you need a cup holder.
  12. not very hard but they are time consuming.
  13. dedenbear he you come. http://www.dedenbear.com/TXToffroad.htm
  14. does anybody have any pic's.... out of the rig. mine didn't come with one. so all my molding is rattling and driving me fricken crazy. measurements would be kewl. thanks mark

  16. that's just wrong to post something like that with out pic's........
  17. as of right now i think it was keeping my old rims and tires from my xj...... on the xj it was an atlas II but because this is a comanche site it's got to be the tailgate. yes it works.
  18. here's one more with 31's Image Not Found one with 33x10.5 bfg at Image Not Found i'm to cheap to get new tires for it until it become 4wd. :D
  19. try'd to do this a month ago but shutterfly wouldn't let me link pic's. '91 2wd (for now) 4.0 w/ax-15 (kinda surprized me). found it with 3" now it sits around 5"-6". 1st day i picked it up. 1st real mod was to get ride of the turdy5. pick-n-pull 44 out of an xj and spring over. how it sits now.
