don't wanna be buying anything to make me sleep for the rest of my life.. Yeah, that's not how they work. Melatonin is the chemical your brain produces to get you to go to sleep. This is just a supplament of something your body already makes, not a knock-out drug. It does not prevent you from waking up in the morning... i get that. I still don't want to have to pay for anything that helps. i'd like to get somethin goin that takes the problem entirely away.

Renix ones have the three piece hose with the flex hose in the middle. In 91 they went to a one piece plastic hose. and the plastic hoses are prone to getting small pinholes and leaking.

I've tried that... I wake up when the thing falls off my chest and hit's the floor lol. don't wanna be buying anything to make me sleep for the rest of my life.. ouch. my gun would already be out.

anyone else here have troubles getting to sleep? I can never fall asleep at a decent time...I'm wide awake until I crash. I always wake up right at 7:30, reguardless of alarm or not. I know I'm burning enough energy during the day to be able to sleep, but it's just not workin. the past 4 days I've set up the laptop with sleep hypnosis videos when i want to go to bed...I don't remember seeing/hearing the end of even a single one, and they're all of 10 minutes. I'm actually sleeping better with this, waking up feeling ALOT better than normal...but I don't want to become dependant on something as stupid as this just to get to sleep for the rest of my life...

$500 for the Jeep, $300 for an engine, $200 for title fees. $1000 jeep that would sell for $4000. Personally I would rather just throw an engine in and make $3000. Seems a lot quicker than trying to part it out. title fees? guess I'm abnormal and don't give a crap about the law or somethin...but if I buy a vehicle, unless it's goin in my name, it sure as hell isn't gettin registered by me. Part of the costs of doing business the way I do it. Can't drive a vehicle without plates, people don't want to buy a vehicle without test driving it. Plus most of the time when I purchase a vehicle doing a title skip is not possible. Your exception with "title fees" aside, my statement still stands, flip it for quicker and greater profit. I get that. I've got the benefit that my insurance covers the car, and I live in the boonies, so the cops don't care... personally, I'd still strip it.

yeah. but trust me, I'm a bottom feeder...I take the ones no one else wants, and if I can fix them, I do...otherwise, I scrap 'em.
-

Where is that written in the law? Maybe in your state. Definitely not in Connecticut. And I doubt either of us knows about California. It used to be that Kelly was always higher than NADA, which is why dealers used NADA to figure your trade-in value but the tax assessors always used Kelly. I haven't followed used vehicle prices for several years, so it wouldn't surprise me if things have changed. there is a law protecting the rights of the vehicle owner. you are not required to agree with them. in the end, they WILL give you what you decide you want. that said, whether you cave to them, and decide that's all you want, or you stand your ground...that's up to you.

...and yet here, I'd get 75% of Low Blue Book, and totaled on the title. AKA nowhere near the cost of replacement...so it's advantageous to me to drop the collision coverage on it no matter what amount it was "insured for". I have 4 vehicles and the MJ costs me $240 a year for $500,000 liability ($20 month). So 75% of low book would be about $800 OR I could buy the totaled Jeep for $100. I have at least 3K into it so I'd get reamed. Not the insurance company's fault, that's just the law (here in sunny california). kelly blue book is out-dated. use the other site that was recommended. they MUST go by what YOU want them to go by.

did you put the bench in there?

I'd just strip it. bet you can get it for a grand, and with the body in good shape you have your parts jeep. then sell out what's left of it...someone out there will buy it for a wheeler chassis.

The 3800 is insured for $7500. I've been through this. They told me $1328 for it when it got hit the first time. They wouldn't pay more than that, BUT we settled on them paying max with no damage to the title (didn't total it out) My 87 is insured for $8500 with it's current but finished condition. Full coverage on it is $139/month. If it got hit, I'd get $7500 and buy-back of $250. But I spend the $$$ on estimates, around $300/vehicle to make sure I don't get screwed. It's a $2000 vehicle if the floors and frame are solid. Bed is replaceable, rockers are fixable. All it needed was to run and drive with no issues. -Pat

I wouldn't spend that kind of money unless it was a '97+ 2.5 diesel.
